Alpha Games first Bolt Action tournament of 2020!
Join us for a day of gaming fun, veterans and beginners all welcome!
– 1000 point list
– A maximum of ONE reinforced infantry platoon
– No tank platoons.
– There is no dice limit
– We prefer painted armies, but that is not mandatory.
– We implement the what you see is what you get (WYSIWYG) ‘rule’. No substitute models and the guns/equipment your models have must be an accurate reflection of the list you have submitted.
Your list must be generated from the Second Edition Rulebook, ‘Armies of…’ books or the additional unit PDFs. No army rules from the Theatre books can be used.
Many of our players are new to the game; please don’t bring seriously over powered and abusive lists, the aim of the day is to have fun and not start WW3!
Lists are to be submitted at least 1 week before the tournament. Players are responsible for the accuracy of their own lists.

Our quarterly boot sales have proved to be awesome events for buyers and sellers alike! Just book a pitch and sell your unused wargames, cards, board games, etc! Nothing to sell? Why not pop in to seek some bargains!

PLEASE NOTE: There will NOT be any glass for this event, prizes will still be from the current Beastgrave Season 1 OP kit. Price has been adjusted to reflect this.

There will be a Best Painted prize at this event, voted for by the players!
The event will be using the Matched play rules as found in the WU: Underworlds Rulebook.
Best of three matches.You’ll declare your Warband and Deck at Registration (and use the same all day) rather than choose at the start of each game.
The event will consist of 3 or more rounds depending on the number of players. (1-8 = 3 rounds, 9-16 = 4 rounds, etc.)
Round 1 starts at 12 noon.
Each round will last 90 minutes. The first round draw will be a random draw but 2nd and subsequent rounds will be done by swiss. There will be a short 5-10 minute break between the games. If time is called in the round and you are still playing complete the game round you are on (activation and end phase) and proceed to the Victory phase (skipping any further rounds if you haven’t started them).
What do you need to bring:
– a WU Warband (models & matching fighter cards)
– at least 1 WU board
– a set of dice, objectives 1-5 and set of tokens you’ll need to play a game of WU with
– a minimum 20 card power deck
– a 12 card objective deck
Standard Deck construction rules apply as found in the rulebook and any Errata’s and FAQ’s including any banned and restricted cards.
At the end of the game work out who has won using standard Victory conditions after the End Phase of Round 3 (see the Rulebook for more info). Play a best of 3.
Beat to quarters and fly the colours ready for Alpha Games first high seas event!
There will be 3 rounds over the course of the day each lasting 2.5 hours.
You will need a 2000 point fleet from the main rulebook.
You can NOT use named ships or characters and National special rules will not be in effect.
As this is the first event we will use the guidelines from Warlord and see how it goes, future events might be dfferent!
Entry fee will be £10 with prize support for the top players as follows:
1st place for up to 6 players,
1st and 2nd place for 7-12 players and
1st, 2nd and 3rd place for 12+ players
There will also be a best painted fleet competition voted for by the players.
There is ample parking available onsite as well as drinks and snacks.
As we sell food and drink we request that food and drink not purchased here are not consumed onsite.
Following on from the success of our previous events, Alpha Games presents our next Random Doubles event!
Whether you like crushing the heretics, spreading corruption, or just eating everything this is the place to do it!
Head on down with 1k points and get a random teammate to go forth with and purge the enemy over 3 games.
